Our place on Mt. Hood has been mostly rented since Thanksgiving, which is great... but it means we haven't been up there since October.
A friend is using our place this weekend, and he emailed some photos. They've spent hours shoveling snow and clearing snow away from the kitchen window (on the second floor). There's snow approaching the 3rd floor windows now. It's crazy.
The first group of photos shows the snow from the inside of my friend's kitchen, which is on the second floor. They knock it away with a broom and eventually dig out.

This photo is of the back of my friend's place. The window facing you is on the THIRD floor.

Between you guys and talking
to Dawn about all the snow in
Illinois, I sure am glad we live
in Havasu. You need a day like
we are having today, 74 degrees
and sunny, to melt all that snow.
Then you'd probably have big
water problems.
Guess I'll have to stop complaining
when it's in the 50's and windy around here.
Love to all,
